Day Seven → Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?
His mom’s death. Well, erase as in make it never have happened and her alive right now. He would honestly do anything to have his mom back, but he knows it’ll never happen. It’s not like he can go back in time and try to save her. While he’s come to terms with his mom’s death, he still misses her dearly and will never be able to not miss her. If there was a way to have her back, any way at all, he would take it. But there isn’t, so he’s surviving. It’s just one of those things that happens. Everyone has their own time to pass away, and his mom’s had just been at a young age. But yeah, if he could erase (aka change) one thing about his past, it would be that.

Day Six → Describe your character’s happiest memory.
It’s hard for Kurt to remember a lot of happiness. Ever since his mom died, things just went downhill and all the bad stuff just clouds his mind. But sometimes, sometimes there is a light in the dark and a happy memory comes to mind. The happiest he’s ever remembered was when he was seven years old. It was his birthday and they were having a party, filled with family members and friends. Everyone had already given him his presents, except his mom. He still had to get one from her. After tugging on her dress asking for his present, she finally lead him into his room where a hope chest was sitting. Upon opening it, Kurt found two things inside: A tiara and a Maria Von Trapp bonnet. This was the best gift he had received all day, mainly due to the fact that he had been asking his mom for weeks if he could start a tiara collection like a few of the girls at school did. And his mom had obviously noticed how much he loved the Sound of Music, because the bonnet was something Kurt instantly loved. It was just a simple memory, but it’s one he loves and cherishes. And the rest of the day went wonderfully, so it probably is the happiest memory he has.

Day Five → What’s your character’s ranking on the Kinsey Scale?

6 — Exclusively homosexual.

It’s always been obvious that Kurt was different, and he’s never really thought it to be odd. Noticing how pretty the boys looked in preschool instead of the girls just seemed normal to him. He’s always known he was gay, but he didn’t actually realize his label and the different opinions on it until he was twelve. Even then, he just found it to be normal. What was so wrong with him liking guys? It’s not like he was doing something bad, it was just a natural thing. But as he grew older, he learned more about the worlds’ views on homosexuality and how people in his very high school treated people like him. Sure, he didn’t go ahead and outright say he was gay to people—why should he, anyways? It didn’t matter if he liked guys instead of girls, he was still a person and his sexuality didn’t define him. But people knew, or the assumed because of stereotyping, and the insults and harassment happened daily. No one, apart from Kurt, really knew until the day he came out to his dad, who became the first person to actually know that Kurt was gay. After finding acceptance there, he managed to tell the rest of his family, which was relieving. No one in his family hated him, they still treated him the same as before. It was nice, really. Sure, to the people at school he still hasn’t ever said to anyone “Yeah, I’m gay”, but he doesn’t deny it so they all just continue to know or assume.

Day Four → How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?
Kurt definitely knows he’s attractive, and I suppose you could say he’s fairly vain, yes. He’s fully confident in his looks, and while he won’t go ahead and outright say to someone that he’s very attractive, he certainly knows it and uses his appearance and attraction to his advantage when it comes to getting what he wants. That doesn’t mean he’ll let people get too close to him or anything—he does have self respect, after all—but if he wants something badly enough, he’ll put together the right outfit, style his hair perfectly and go all-out to make sure he’s successful in achieving his purpose. Some people have told him he isn’t as attractive as he thinks, but he doesn’t listen to nobody when they talk to him like that. He simply brushes it off as jealousy, and why wouldn’t they be jealous? He’s gorgeous, it’s as simple as that. And then he’s intelligent, charismatic, charming, confident, with a softer, more compassionate side that only some people get to see. People are lucky to be able to be meet him, even luckier if he allows them to get close. And while people may not realize just how amazing he is now, it’s only a matter of time before he’s a Broadway star and everyone knows his name. Then they will see it, then everyone will realize how amazing he really is.
